SIA Jammu raids Kashmir Times office

The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Jammu on Thursday carried out searches at the Kashmir Times office, as per news reports.
The searches are understood to be linked to an ongoing investigation.
As per reports,officers checked various sections of the office, examined documents and digital devices.
Some reports said SIA has alleged that the newspaper has been involved in “anti-national activities”.
The agency has also reportedly registered an FIR naming the paper’s Executive Editor Anuradha Bhasin in connection with the allegations.
Kashmir Times is one of the region’s oldest English newspapers and was founded in 1954 by journalist Ved Bhasin. The paper is currently edited by his daughter, Anuradha Bhasin.
