Palki Sharma announces launch of ‘India Global Review’

Palki Sharma has announced the launch of a global newsroom named 'India Global Review (IGR)'. She has begun recruiting storytellers for the project.

Sharma posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying, "We are building a global newsroom in India. Interested candidates can contact us through indiaglobalreview.com." She also used the hashtags #IGR and #IndiaGlobalReview.

According to the post, six positions are being recruited under 'WE ARE HIRING', which include multimedia producers, writers, video editors, graphic designers, PCR crew and camera persons.

A few days ago, Sharma sparked speculation about the new venture after sharing a post titled “India Global Review (IGR)” on X.

It is unclear whether 'India Global Review' will be part of an existing media network or an independent digital platform.

It's worth noting that Palki Sharma recently launched this project after leaving Network18. She previously hosted the show "Vantage" on Firstpost and CNN-News18. 

She also has anchored WION's flagship program "Gravitas" and has worked with other media organizations such as ITV Network, Doordarshan News, and Hindustan Times.
