Max Life Insurance partners with AICAPD to launch ‘Protect a Smile’ initiative
With this initiative, Max Life looks at empowering underprivileged children by funding one year’s education for every death claim it settles for its ‘Term Insurance Plans’
Max Life Insurance Company Limited announced the launch of its ‘Protect a Smile’ initiative wherein the insurer will fund one year’s education of an underprivileged child for every death claim it settles for its ‘Term Insurance Plans’ during the rest of the current financial year. Max Life partners with All India Citizen’s Alliance for Progress and Development (AICAPD), a national level NGO working towards the upliftment of children of economically and socially underprivileged and backward people for this intiative.
The initiative will enable a life insurance policy to not only financially protect the family of the policyholder but also empower society by making a difference in the lives of underprivileged children who have little to no access to basic education.
Max Life is known among its stakeholders and customers to possess one of the best claims management practices in the industry. The life insurer’s initiative ‘Protect a Smile’ is in alignment with its endeavour to further widen the impact of the claim’s settlement, considered to be the biggest moment of truth for the policyholder’s family. Building on this strong association, Max Life’s ‘Protect a Smile’ initiative looks to drive a larger social objective of empowering underprivileged children.
Commenting on the initiative, Aalok Bhan, Director, and Chief Marketing Officer, Max Life said, “Life insurance is all about supporting families in the most important and critical moments of their lives that arise in the absence of their loved ones. While nothing can replace the loss of a loved one, the memory of that loved one can be honored by being a difference to another life. Under our new initiative ‘Protect a Smile’, Max Life will partner with AICAPD to go the extra mile in memory of the family’s loved one by protecting the future of society’s underprivileged kids on their behalf, thereby contributing to the creation of a better tomorrow.”
Coinciding with the life insurer’s eighth ‘Protection Day’, the initiative underscores Max Life’s commitment towards protecting larger communities from life’s hardships and creating a financially secure society, rooted in care and harmony. Through its ‘Protect a Smile’ initiative, Max Life aims to enrich the legacy of the policyholder. Eight months ago, the company announced that it will dedicate the 6th of every calendar month as ‘Protection Day’ towards driving awareness regarding financial protection.
The initiative will be implemented for all term plan policies whose death claims have been settled between December 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020.
