Kantar’s Samit Chakrabarti passed away in Kolkata on Monday. He was Director, Quantitative, East India at Kantar.
Samit Chakrabarti was 55, and is survived by his wife Kakoli and daughter Mihika.
Industry colleagues recalled Samit as an excellent researcher and leader, and one of the pillars of Kantar’s Kolkata office.
“Samit was warm, generous to a fault, exceedingly helpful and a great guide and mentor to many. He went out of his way to support others and shunned the limelight. Over the years, Samit had forged close relationships with many of his colleagues across the spectrum. Much loved and respected, the ever-cheerful Samit will be deeply missed as a talented professional and as a true friend by many.”
