JSW Steel has strengthened its brand presence across Kerala during the Onam season with an integrated 360-degree media campaign, combining Outdoor, FM Radio and Theatre advertising to create a strong and consistent presence across the state.

The campaign, executed by Malabar Advertising, brings together multiple media formats to connect with consumers across key urban and semi-urban markets during one of Kerala’s biggest festive periods.

At the centre of the campaign is an extensive Outdoor strategy, led by branded KSRTC buses across major cities in Kerala. The buses create a mobile brand presence across high-traffic routes and urban centres, extending the campaign’s visibility across everyday consumer journeys.

The campaign also features premium bus shelters at iconic and high-footfall locations across Kerala, providing sustained visibility in some of the state’s prominent urban spaces. Complementing these are premium LED screens at prime locations, adding a dynamic digital dimension to the Outdoor campaign.

To further extend the campaign beyond major cities, mini hoardings have been deployed across Kerala, helping JSW Steel achieve wider geographic coverage and maintain consistent visibility across urban and semi-urban markets.

The Outdoor campaign is supported by FM Radio and Theatre advertising, creating additional consumer touchpoints during the festive season. The combination of transit advertising, premium bus shelters, digital outdoor, mini hoardings, radio and cinema allows the brand to build visibility across different audience environments and consumption occasions.

Speaking about the campaign, Malabar Advertising said, “The objective was to create a strong and consistent physical presence for JSW Steel across Kerala by combining premium outdoor assets with extensive state-wide coverage. By bringing together multiple media formats, the campaign was designed to build visibility and connect with consumers across the region during the festive season.”

Sharing the campaign details, Vicky Nair, JSW Steel, said, “To win during high-intent festive seasons like Onam, brands need three things: scale, consistency, and a strong multi-channel presence. In our latest campaign in Kerala, we brought this to life by combining traditional outdoor media with digital and broadcast touchpoints. Building genuine regional recall means being a visible part of our customer’s everyday journey.”

The campaign demonstrates how Outdoor advertising can work alongside traditional and digital media to create scale, frequency and sustained visibility, particularly during high-consumption festive periods.
