Jagran launches two more editions of City Plus from Pune

Jagran Group has launched the seventh edition of its City Plus newspaper from Pune in Wakad/ Pimple Saudagar on July 30, 2011. With this, the total count of City Plus editions will be 32 across Delhi/ NCR, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Jagran launches two more editions of City Plus from Pune

Jagran Group has launched the seventh edition of its City Plus newspaper from Pune in Wakad/ Pimple Saudagar on July 30, 2011. With this, the total count of City Plus editions will be 32 across Delhi/ NCR, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

An official release from the Jagran Group stated that Wakad/ Pimple Saudagar was one of the upcoming areas in Pune. The population consist mix of old/ young, Marwadi and Gujarati, higher middle class people belonging to the salaried/ self employed segment.

The area is highly potential for community news paper with series of eating joints, hotels, retail, outlets, spa, gym, etc., for coverage. The area has lots of commercial establishment and is one of fast developing area of Pune. It is highly influenced by the nearby IT hub of Hinjewadi.

The release further states, “The edition, with a circulation of 35,000 copies, will be circulated every Saturday and Sunday and will cover residential and commercial establishments across Wakad and Pimple Saudagar.”
