Gautam Adani to speak on India’s global influence at Whistling Woods International

Whistling Woods International (WWI) has announced that Gautam Adani will visit its campus on Friday, 10th October, to interact with over 2,000 students on the theme “Developing India as the Soft Power of the World.”

“Mr. Gautam Adani has graciously accepted our invitation to grace the occasion of Celebrate Cinema Week and share his insights with our students,” said Ms. Meghna Ghai Puri, President of Whistling Woods International. “We are all very excited to hear him speak that evening.”

Mrs. Priti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, will accompany Mr. Adani during the visit. The campus will also showcase the latest AI technologies being employed in Media and Entertainment, giving students a glimpse of future-ready innovations.

Founder and Chairman Mr. Subhash Ghai expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It is a great honour for us to welcome Mr. Gautam Adani, whose legendary success story stands as a symbol of India’s rise today. We are deeply grateful to Mr. Gautam Adani and Mrs. Priti Adani for accepting our invitation. Their interaction with our students and insights on nation-building through soft power will be a memorable experience for all.”

The visit forms part of Celebrate Cinema 2025, being held from 8th to 10th October. The three-day event features over 40 workshops for aspiring filmmakers and artists. This year’s edition also pays tribute to cinematic legends Raj Kapoor and Guru Dutt on their centenary, with special events themed around “The Significance of Poetry and Music in Indian Cinema.”
