Firstsource appoints Jagriti Bhattacharyya as General Counsel

Firstsource Solutions Limited , a  provider of business process management services and an RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group company, today announced the appointment of Jagriti Bhattacharyya as General Counsel, effective September 24, 2025. In her role, Jagriti will oversee the company’s Legal and Corporate Secretarial and Compliance functions. Her appointment underscores Firstsource’s commitment to strong governance, innovation, and sustainable growth, further reinforcing the company’s focus on building a future-ready organization, stated a press release.

Most recently, she served as General Counsel at Pine Labs, where she led the company’s legal, corporate secretarial, and compliance functions, guiding complex transactions and strategic initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. Her depth of experience in navigating complex regulatory frameworks and enabling transformational growth will be instrumental in strengthening Firstsource’s governance foundations, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving sustainable growth.

Before Pine Labs, Jagriti served as Chief Counsel for South Asia at Thomson Reuters, overseeing both GCC and sales functions through the company’s transition into Refinitiv, following the acquisition of its Financial & Risk business by Blackstone, and later by the London Stock Exchange Group. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Citibank, where she was Senior Vice President & Associate Country Counsel, and at ICICI Bank as Senior Legal Counsel.

An alumna of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Jagriti has been a strong advocate for corporate governance and diversity & inclusion, having led women’s leadership networks and championed equity initiatives at a global level, embedding governance and inclusion frameworks across the organizations she has served.
