BBC Entertainment is airing a slew of shows as part of its content line-up for August 15, 2011. These include shows like ‘Wild India Unknown Seas’, ‘Tiger Kill’, and ‘Mountains of the Monsoon’.

BBC Entertainment navigates wild India unknown seas

BBC Entertainment is airing a slew of shows as part of its content line-up for August 15, 2011. These include shows like ‘Wild India Unknown Seas’, ‘Tiger Kill’, and ‘Mountains of the Monsoon’.

In the programme, ‘Wild India Unknown Seas’, which airs on August 15, 2011 at 7 pm, Valmik Thapar sets sail from the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal, discovering the stunning world that exists in these unknown seas.

‘Tiger Kill’, airs at 8 pm and depicts the extraordinary adventure of a two-man team on a mission of a lifetime to the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. The team comprises Indian wildlife cameraman Alphonse Roy has worked in the reserve for over 17 years and natural history cameraman Simon King.

‘Mountains of the Monsoon’, which airs at 9 pm, covers the high ranges of the mysterious Western Ghats Mountains of India. The mysterious and magical environment is home to an array of rare creatures. Sandesh Kadur embarks on a personal quest to travel through this wilderness, armed with both cutting edge technology and ancient local knowledge, in an attempt to document what lies beneath the rainforest canopy, before it disappears forever.
