65th National Film Award jury announced

The central panel for the 65th National Film Award has been announced. The panel will be headed by renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and will have 10 other members, including five chairpersons of regional panels.

The five regional chairpersons are: writer-actor Imtiaz Hussain (South 1), lyrics writer Mehboob (South II), actor Gautami Tadimalla (North), film director Rahul Rawail (West) and film director P Sheshadri (East). The other members of the central panel are film director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Prof. Tripurari Sharma, writer-actor Rumi Jaffery, film director-editor Ranjit Das and film writer Rajesh Mapuskar.

The awards ceremony will be held on May 3, 2018. Conferred by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these awards honour the best in Indian films.
