Time Magazine's Top 25 Influential People on Internet has no Indian name, no, not even PM Narendra Modi

In its latest list of ‘The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet’, Time magazine has featured names including the likes of author JK Rowling, US President Donald Trump, 7-year-old Bana Alabed of Syria, Kim Kardashian, and pop sensation Rihanna among others.
Surprisingly, not a single name from India has made it to the list. Despite the fact that India is home to some of the most influential people on internet including political and film personalities, the report seems to have overlooked the facts.
If we look at the following of Prime Minister Modi, he has 31. 3 million Twitter followers while Donald Trump has 33.3 million followers. Interestingly, Modi featured in the list in 2015 and 2016 but not this year.
While JK Rowling has 11 million followers, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has 27.6 million followers and yet he does not make it to the list of influential personalities on the internet.
The surprises don’t end here. There are a lot of other names which could have easily been replaced by their Indian counterparts:
