BankBazaar.com has awarded its digital and social media mandate to Bangalore based Bluebot Digital. As per the mandate, Bluebot will drive creative and differentiated content for strengthening BankBazaar’s brand presence across social media landscape, making sure it is more engaging and entertaining. Bluebot Digital was awarded social media duties after a rigorous multi-agency pitch involving some leading agencies.
Established in 2008, BankBazaar.com has been a pioneer and a one-stop provider of hassle-free solutions for all personal finance products including insurance policies, mutual funds, bank loans and credit cards.
Commenting on the association with Bluebot, Prince Thomas, Head, Brand, BankBazaar said, “We are focusing on content-driven strategy with an aim to simplify personal finance space and entice India’s tech-savvy youth to take charge of their finance. Social media platforms are effective but tricky, hence we need to make sure that we are pushing the right content on the right platform. BankBazaar.com has been very aggressive on social media. They own the biggest community, within the fintech industry, on social media with 636,313 fan on Facebook and 11,600 followers on Twitter. Based on the business, their content is on personal finance, but the way they are treating it is innovative. The YouTube series – “Lets Talk about Money” and “#Dearme” reflects the unique communication strategy of the brand. Most of the players are still very traditional in their communication with difficult finance jargons etc., whereas BankBazaar.com is trying to make finance easy, consumable and engaging. It is giving financial content a new packaging with new, short and trending formats like info graphic, GIFs etc.
