Amazon Inspire, an ad format that lets sellers create short-form videos to showcase their products, will be discontinued, according to a media report. The TikTok-like feature is being axed since it no longer aligns with customer needs, said the report quoting an Amazon spokesperson.

The website opens to a message from Amazon: "Thank you for using Amazon Inspire to discover and shop new products on Amazon. Please note that Inspire is no longer available in the Amazon shopping app."

The app was positioned to be a part of the media retail strategy for brands and was promised to offer high engagement within 15 seconds. Amazon Inspire also offered targeting tools that helped sellers zero in on specific demographics with the right message, amplifying the chances of a sale.

The company launched Amazon Inspire in 2022 as a low-cost platform that created high visibility for the products showcased.
