Cannes Lions 2018: Here's What's Happening On Day 2

There will be shortlists in seven categories, thought-provoking sessions and awards in five categories

After getting off to an exciting start on Day 1, Day 2 of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity can only be better!

Shortlists for seven categories will be announced on Day 2. Tune into exchange4media for all the latest updates on which entries from Indian agencies make it to the Film Craft, Digital Craft, Industry Craft, Entertainment, Entertainment for Music, Brand Activation, and Creative eCommerce Lions.

We at exchange4media are particularly looking forward to watch Pooran Isarsingh -- the star of the award-winning campaign ‘Last Laugh’ by Medulla Communications -- take the stage on Tuesday. She will share experiences of her first on-stage performance at the Cannes Lions during a conversation with Heather Bresch, CEO, Mylan on ‘Experiments with Life Changing Creativity’.

We also have our eyes on YouTube CEO, Susan Wojcicki’s special session on brand building, engaging audiences and accountability in the digital age. Wojcicki will be joined by Lubomira Rochet, Chief Digital Officer of L'Oreal, and Lyor Cohen, YouTube's Global Head of Music, who will share his vision for a new golden age of music.

Have you been wondering what Marcel is and what it can do? Join Arthur Sadoun, Chairman & CEO; Nick Law, Chief Creative Officer and Carla Serrano, Chief Strategy Officer of Publicis Groupe, to find answers to all your questions. The presentation will help demystify Marcel, an AI-powered platform designed to connect 80,000 creative minds-- help them learn more, share more and create more.

PHD Worldwide CEO, Mike Cooper and Oliver James, Author, Psychologist, The School of Life, will chat about unlocking the creative side in us by understanding the different selves within our own personalities.Their session titled ‘Creativity on the Couch: What Psychoanalysis Can Tell Us’ is on our must-attend list.

Also, we will find out during the award ceremony whether the nine shortlisted entries from India in the Outdoor, Print&Publishing, Design, Mobile categories make the cut for the coveted Lions. We wish Creativeland Asia, Grey India, McCann Worldwide, TBWA\ India, and Ogilvy India all the very best!
