The annual creative award function of Cochin Advertising Club – ‘Pepper 2008’ – which was thrown open to agencies across South India in 2007, is back. The awards function will be held on March 28 in Kochi, has called for entries from agencies. The Club has set March 7 as the last date for receiving entries.
PVR Ltd and Major Cineplex Group of Thailand have signed a 51:49 joint venture pact to bring lifestyle entertainment concepts to Indian consumers. Edelweiss Capital Ltd has decided on the agencies to handle its creative and media duties, which jointly amount to Rs 15 crore. While PerceptH has got the creative mandate, Mediacom will handle the media duties. The financial services company had called for a pitch in January 2008.

Star India has announced, what it claims to be, India’s biggest reality game show, ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?’ The show also marks the return of Shah Rukh Khan to television after ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
