Independent advertising agency Rediffusion has launched Rediffusion Narrative, a creative content division focused on brand integrated storytelling. Launched on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi this year, Rediffusion Narrative marks a bold new chapter in how brands connect with audiences — through the power of engaging stories, especially in the streaming age, stated a press release.

A New Language for Brands

Rediffusion Narrative specializes in creating and producing branded content across formats including Web Series, Microdramas, and other narrative-first formats tailored for the modern, digitally native Indian audience. Initial projects include a 20-part web series being developed for a major OTT Platform and 10+ titles of Microdramas green lit and under production for leading brands, launching later this year.

Rediffusion Narrative houses teams of writers, directors and strategists who specialize in curated storytelling for brands and combines well with the 53-years of Rediffusion’s heritage of “creating brand communication that becomes famous, part of the language and the culture of the people.”

The offering bridges the gap between advertising and entertainment, offering brands a platform to tell stories that resonate, endure, and build lasting emotional equity in an era where attention is the most sought after element for brands.

Spearheading Rediffusion Narrative is Ambica Kuthiala, a broadcast and media veteran who has over 35 years of experience working on content across genres in India and SE Asia. Her rich experience in broadcast, branded entertainment, and storytelling brings a rare blend of creative depth and industry acumen to the venture, making Rediffusion Narrative uniquely poised to redefine branded content in India. Ambica will oversee the day-to-day operations at Rediffusion Narrative.

Even as its first slate of content moves into production, Rediffusion Narrative has more innovative titles in the pipeline, being developed in collaboration with India’s top three OTT platforms and some of the country’s most influential brands. A reality show, a first-of-its-kind in India, is in closing stages with atleast two large FMCG companies.
