Deepali Naair appointed as Chief Marketing Officer of IBM, India & South Asia

Deepali Naair, former CMO of IIFL Wealth Management has been appointed as the new Chief Marketing Officer of IBM, India & South Asia.

Naair has experience spanning over 20 years in areas of marketing, e-commerce, brand, as well as product and sales. She has also held various leadership positions such as Country Head-Brand, Customer Service and e-Commerce at L&T Financial Services and Vice-President and Head of Marketing at HSBC. In addition to this, she has worked with companies such as, Mahindra, Tata Motors, BPL Mobile, FBC Ulka, Marico's Mediker and Saffola.

Before joining IIFL, Naair worked as a mentor to start-up companies and was an advisor with IAMAI. She also worked as a consultant to corporate clients for digital strategy.

Welcoming Naair to IBM, Karan Bajwa, Managing Director, IBM Ptv. Ltd. tweeted, “Delighted to welcome @deepalinaair as the new CMO for IBM India/South Asia. Thanks for your contributions @voiceofvasanth. Looking forward to creating exciting new experiences for our clients together.”.

In response, Naair tweeted about her new role, “I am very excited to be at IBM. I have been an admirer, for long, of all the cutting edge technology work done by IBM. The IBMers that I hv know (sic) have always sung praises too. Thank you @KaranBajwa_IN.”
