Commenting on the performance, Amit Syngle, Managing Director & CEO of Asian Paints, said the company began FY27 on a strong note, building on the momentum of the previous quarter with healthy growth across its businesses. He said the decorative paints business registered 9% volume growth and 16.6% value growth, while industrial coatings continued its mid-teen growth trajectory. Syngle added that the company's innovation-led strategy, stronger consumer engagement and enhanced service offerings helped drive performance despite an uncertain operating environment. He also highlighted healthy growth and margin expansion in the international business, particularly in the Middle East, and said the Home Décor business continued to strengthen consumer relationships through the Beautiful Homes network.

“We delivered strong profitability, supported by measured price increases, better mix, formulation and sourcing efficiencies and disciplined cost management. With volatility in raw material prices, we will stay agile and continue to focus on tech innovation and customer centricity to maintain our saliency in the market,” Syngle said.
