Tourism Ministry assigns digital duties to DDB MudraMax
The win comes on the back of a multi-agency pitch. Industry sources peg the account size at Rs 50 crore
DDB MudraMax has won the digital media duties of the Ministry of Tourism. A number of media agencies, including Span Communications (the incumbent agency), ZenithOptimedia and GroupM Digital, among others, had participated in the pitch. Industry sources peg the account size at Rs 50 crore.
Commenting on the win, Sathyamurthy Namakkal, President, DDB MudraMax – Media said, “It is a good endorsement of our digital talent. The team is working round the clock to deliver interesting digital solutions for this initiative.”
The Ministry of Tourism is the nodal agency for the formulation of national policies and programmes and for the co-ordination of activities of various Central Government agencies, State Governments/UTs and the private sector for the development and promotion of tourism in the country.
Over the last decade, the Ministry has been promoting India as the ideal destination for international tourists through various ad campaigns and initiatives.
