Tech Talk launches at Cannes Lions 2012
Tech Talk promises to provide valuable insight on the technologies that the communications industry needs to know about to keep pace
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced the launch of a new stream of technology content at the Festival – Tech Talk.
Sponsored by MediaLink, this new programme is a dedicated showcase for forward-thinking businesses to demonstrate their pioneering work across the digital-marketing value chain whilst allowing delegates the opportunity to meet the people behind the technology.
"We’re truly excited about this. With the introduction of the new categories Mobile and Branded Content and Entertainment, it makes sense to introduce these dedicated sessions to a community that is always moving forward and constantly embracing new forms of technology. To be able to hear directly from the lifeblood of the technology media and marketing industry, is a great chance to learn, be inspired and ultimately create ground-breaking work," said Terry Savage, Chairman of Cannes Lions.
Tech Talk promises to provide valuable insight and information on the technologies that the communications industry needs to know about it in order to keep pace. It is a series of talks from the leaders of today’s most innovative digital media and marketing companies. Open to all delegates, the sessions will take place twice a day from the Monday through to the Friday of the Festival in the Palais des Festivals.
“This is a platform where the thought-leaders directly responsible for developing innovative, market-tested solutions will talk about the environment that they are responsible for changing. It will be compelling for all the constituencies at the Festival,” said Michael Kassan, Chairman and CEO, MediaLink.
