SRMB’s campaign features cricket icons Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni

The steel manufacturer is hoping that the pairing of the two world champions is going to be a game-changer for them

Steel manufacturer SRMB brings two generations of cricket champions under one roof, Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni for their latest campaign. The new brand campaign, is representative of the fact that SRMB has evolved with time, but has not relinquished the experience and tradition it holds.

“With this new campaign, we desire to convey that we are the champion’s choice in the TMT segment. Kapil Dev, who has been a part of our family for the longest time and MS Dhoni, who has just come on board does justice to the leadership we enjoy in our business. Also, both Kapil and Dhoni are self-made champions who have worked from the ground-up, but still remain grounded. This is similar to the values of SRMB. This similarity played a significant part in us wanting to make both of them a part of our team. They can tell our story better than anybody else, as it is a story they themselves have lived," said Ashish Beriwala, Director, SRMB on the roll out of the new campaign.

Jaydip Dey, Marketing Head, SRMB feels elated at the prospect of reaching out to people who have desired to see the two world champions come together. “Both are extremely dependable champions who have their distinct style, which makes them successful. Our objective was to highlight that SRMB has both experience, depicted by Kapil Dev and innovation, which MS Dhoni stands for. From a marketing standpoint, pairing up the two world champions is going to be a game-changer for team SRMB,” he also stated.

SRMB’s pioneering spirit is evident in all its initiatives, the most recent example of which is the introduction of WINGRIP TECHNOLOGY, of which the W-shape texture provides superior grip. The new ribbing design and technology is the product of rigorous in-house R&D of SRMB group, and years of experience. SRMB is launching this new technology along with the Kapil-Dhoni campaign.

A 360-degree campaign along with television commercials has been conceptualized and scripted by Sacred Communications, Kolkata. The production house that executed the television commercial is FilmQ.
