‘Sar Jhuka Sakte Nahi’ encourage listeners to spend more time with their loved ones
93.5 RED FM has launched a new campaign ‘Sar Jhuka Sakte Nahi’ to encourage its listeners to spend less time on their phones and more time with their loved ones.
Phones have become an integral part of everyone’s life and it is becoming more and more difficult to let go of these personal devices. With their initiative ‘Sar Jhuka Sakte Nahi’ RED FM is inviting its listeners to take a pledge on August 15 to keep their phones aside for one day and spend time with the people who matter the most.
Individuals are often not aware of the frequency and extent of their mobile phone use which keeps them distracted from the real world.
Encouraging listeners to take the pledge on Independence Day, B Surendar, Chief Operating Officer, RED FM network said: “As we all know, excess of anything is never that good. The wide spread addiction to one’s own mobile phone sounds like a light and trivial issue at the outset but this habit inadvertently seems to affect one’s relationships and health adversely. So, we at Red FM had decided to do something about it this Independence Day with the ‘Sar Jhuka Sakte Nahi’ campaign wherein we are asking people to set aside their phone on 15th August, taste real freedom and invest the time thus saved on their loved ones. While we recognise the fact that mobile phones have sort of become an integral part of our lives these days, the idea is to alert people to introspect and voluntarily curb any excess or unwarranted usage of this wonderful device. Going by the enthusiastic feedback we are getting so far from radio listeners for this highly interactive campaign, I think we have touched upon a top of the mind issue for them.”
