McCann and Ogilvy shine at Clio Awards 2013

McCann Worldgroup India bags 1 Gold & 1 Silver, Ogilvy India brings home 1 Silver & 1 Bronze, followed by BBDO India & DDB Mudra with 1 Bronze metal each

McCann and Ogilvy shine at Clio Awards 2013

The Western Union campaign has once again proved to be a lucky charm for McCann Worldgroup India as it won the agency a Gold metal under Billboard in the Out of Home category as well as a Silver metal for Poster in the same category.  Western Union also bagged a Silver metal this year at AdFest 2013, as well as a Gold metal for India at Cannes 2012.

Ogilvy India was awarded a Silver metal for its popular campaign ‘Roti’ for Lifebuoy India in the Innovative Media category. The campaign garnered a lot of attention and reached millions of people when Ogilvy India partnered with 100 dhabas and hotels at the Kumbh Mela site to serve rotis that are stamped with the message ‘Lifebuoy se haath dhoye kya?’ The message to wash hands hit home in the most effective manner. The agency also won a Bronze metal in the Direct category for its ‘Classroom’ campaign for The Akanksha Foundation.

BBDO India Mumbai was awarded a Bronze metal for ‘How to’ for White Collar Hippies in transit under the Out of Home category.

DDB Mudra Group has also contributed to the metal kitty by bagging a Bronze metal for its work done for Volkswagen’s ‘Attention Assist System's’ under the Illustration – Print Technique category.

Moving on to the film technique category, Mumbai based Wah Wah Music bagged a Silver metal for Music-Original for Nike’s 'Parallel Journeys' commercial. The commercial was conceptualised and executed by JWT Bangalore and earned recognition at the Creative Abbys as well.
