Indian Bank initiates media and creative pitch

Indian Bank has called for media and creative pitch to empanel multiple agencies for the period 2013-14. Industry sources have confirmed the news to exchange4media and said that the pitch is taking place after three to four years.

It is learnt that around 25 to 28 agencies have taken part in the first round of the pitch for empanelment, which got over in mid-June, 2013.

After initial evaluation, 15 agencies were shortlisted and called for the next round of evaluation, which took place on July 25 at the Bank’s office in Chennai. The shortlisted agencies included Grey Advertising, Adwit India, Concept Advertising, Crayons, Disha Communications, Elegant Publicities, Entrall Communication, Draftfcb Ulka, RK Swamy BBDO, Moulis Advertising,  and MCS Communications, among others.

Indian Bank officials were not available for comments at the time of filing this report.

For the record, Indian Bank is a state-owned financial services company headquartered in Chennai. Founded in 1907, the bank has more than 2,000 branches spread over various states and Union Territories. It was under private ownership till 1969, when it was nationalised along with 13 other banks.
