To mark the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, snack & packaged food manufacturing company Bikano has launched a campaign.

The #PyaarkameethaBandhan campaign is planned as a mix of online and offline activities centred on why the Raksha Bandhan festivities are so special this year.

The multifaceted campaign will run on every Bikano social media channel inclusive of their Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts, and also take over the airwaves of Radio City and Red FM. For the on-ground activities, Bikano will focus on certain RWA societies in the Delhi-NCR region and will also be teaming up with a NGO to add more colour to their celebrations.

Regarding the campaign, Manish Aggarwal, Director, Bikano, Bikanervala Foods Pvt Ltd says, “This year many people are finally going to be celebrating Raksha Bandhan in person after two years of lockdowns. So, at Bikano we thought of making the celebrations truly grand and unforgettable by having an unbeatable campaign, #PyaarkameethaBandhan. All we are asking our consumers to do is share a heartfelt reason about why this Raksha Bandhan is so special to them – maybe this is their first Raksha Bandhan after marriage or that they are meeting their sibling/s after years – we want to know these stories. Consumers can share their stories on our social media accounts using the #PyaarkameethaBandhan hashtag. Be it a text, an image or even a video, we look forward to hearing from our consumers about their celebrations this year. And the most heartfelt entries to garner the maximum number of likes will stand a chance to win exclusive Bikano hampers. We are looking forward to ample entries and lots of stories.”

Dawinder Pal, Head of Marketing at Bikano says, “Festivals add colour to life, and this Raksha Bandhan we want to return some of the love our consumers place in us. And hence we have elaborate plans with our #PyaarkameethaBandhan campaign. Be it online on our digital channels, over the radio-waves or in-person at select RWA societies in the Delhi-NCR region, Bikano wants to reach out and engage with as many people as we can. We want this #PyaarkameethaBandhan campaign to be memorable solely on the basis of the number of emotional responses this festival, one that binds siblings together, invokes.
