BARC Week 31: Amazon India enters both Top 10 Advertiser and Top 10 Brands
After a short spell of absence, Amazon India makes its presence felt in BARC’s Top 10 Advertiser and Top 10 Brands while Airtel Postpaid Promise reclaims its hold over latter
Airtel Postpaid Promise regained its hold over BARC’s Top 10 Brands for Week 31 (July 28-August 4) with 11,900 insertions.
Amazon.in moved up to second spot with 11,449 insertions.
Dove Cream Bathing Bar retained its third spot 9687 insertions.
Videocon D2H, Close Up Ever Fresh and Surf Excel Easy Wash slipped to fifth, sixth and ninth spot with 8964, 8751 and 7957 insertions, respectively.
Axis Bank Credit/Debit card, OLX.in, Dettol Cool Soap and Lizol entered the list at fourth, seventh, eighth and tenth spot with 9038, 8187, 8048 and 7642 insertions, respectively.
In the Top 10 Advertisers list, Hindustan Lever and Reckitt Benckiser (India) continued to retain the top two spots with 1,45,612 and 54,017 insertions, respectively.
Procter & Gamble and ITC Ltd moved up to third and seventh spot with 29,869 and 19,301 insertions, respectively.
Brooke Bond Lipton India, Super Cassettes Industries and Patanjali Ayurved slipped to fourth, ninth and tenth spot with 23,261, 17,001 and 16,849 insertions, respectively.
Cadburys India retained its fifth spot with 21,951 insertions.
Amazon Online India and Dabur India entered the list after a brief hiatus at sixth and eighth spot with 19,749 and 17,262 insertions, respectively.
