BARC Week 1, 2018: Videocon D2H leads Top 10 Brands
In the Top 10 Advertisers list, FMCG brand Hindustan Lever and Reckitt Benckiser India took the top two spots
Videocon D2H dramatically moved to lead Top 10 Brands with 12,954 insertions for the first week of 2018 (December 30-January 5) with 12,954 insertions. Previous week’s leader online travel portal Trivago slipped to the second spot with 12,079 insertions. Dettol Toilet Soaps took the third spot with 10896 insertions.
Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation entered the category at fourth spot with 10,208 while Ministry of Health & Family Welfare slipped to the fifth spot with 9453 insertions.
Dove Cream Bathing Bar and HP Racer slipped to sixth and seventh spot with 8384 and 8344 insertions respectively.
E-commerce major Amazon further dropped to the eighth spot from previous week’s sixth position with 8247 insertions. Vimal Elaichi Pan Masala climbed up to the ninth spot with 8140 insertions.
Harpic 10X entered the list at the tenth spot after a brief hiatus with 7804 insertions.

Procter and Gamble, Ponds India, Cadburys India and SBS Biotech climbed to third, seventh, eighth and ninth spot with 30,837, 19,859, 18,536 and 14,613 insertions respectively.
Brooke Bond Lipton India, ITC Ltd and Patanjali Ayurved slipped to fourth, fifth and sixth spot with 25,775, 23,330 and 21,212 insertions respectively.
Videocon Industries entered the category at the tenth spot with 12954 insertions.
