Anil S Nair steps down as CEO of L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, Paritosh Srivastava to take over

Anil S Nair has stepped down as CEO & Managing Partner, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi India.  Paritosh Srivastava, COO, Publicis Beehive will take over the reins from Nair with effect from 2 January, 2020, sources have confirmed with exchange4media. Nair will however remain associated with the company as an Advisor.

Nair has been the CEO and Managing Partner of L & K Saatchi & Saatchi India since 2014.  He was one of the co-founders of Law & Kenneth Communications, India's largest independent agency prior to its merger with Saatchi & Saatchi in January 2014. With over 24 years’ experience in the advertising industry, he is rated as one of the top 20 influential advertising professionals in India. In the past three years, Nair has led the agency to numerous international and national award recognition and consolidated its position on the leaderboard of creativity.

   On Nair stepping down and moving to an Advisor role Saurabh Varma, CEO, Publicis Communications, India & South Asia, said, “It’s a bittersweet feeling.  On appointing Paritosh Srivastava as the new MD of L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, he said, “It wasn’t an easy task to find Anil’s successor.  On his new role Srivastava said, “It has been an incredible journey of over 8 years with Publicis Worldwide, leading Ambience and Beehive. I’m thankful to a great set of clients and my wonderful team for making it such an extraordinary journey.” 

 In January 2018, Srivastava took over the reins at Beehive apart from continuing to lead Publicis Ambience as its COO. He stepped into the role in place of Sanjit Shastri, who passed away in September 2017 due to a cardiac arrest. He comes with 2 decades of experience across agencies like Ogilvy, Rediffusion Y&R and Publicis Worldwide. 

Law & Kenneth was founded in 2004 by Praveen Kenneth and Andy Law, along with investor and co-founder, Anita Roddick of The Body Shop, and counts over 285 professionals. It has since grown into a full service agency specializing in traditional and digital advertising, branding and marketing.

In 2014, Publicis Groupe announced the majority acquisition of Law & Kenneth, one of the largest independent Indian advertising and digital agencies to be integrated into Saatchi & Saatchi India.Saatchi & Saatchi India was re-branded as L&K Saatchi & Saatchi (Law & Kenneth Saatchi & Saatchi), to strongly reinforce the agency’s presence in India between its offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
