AFAA to ‘Fast Track’ young talent into industry leaders

The Advertising Council of India (ACI), whose members include The Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA), The Advertising Club Bombay, The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), The Indian Broadcasters Foundation (IBF), the India chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) and The Standing Committee on Advertising (STACA), will be sponsoring four young professionals on an all expenses paid trip to Malaysia where they will attend the ‘Fast Track’ programme commissioned by The Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA).

The ‘Fast Track Professional Excellence Programme’ aims to re-orient young professionals to build on their basic skills in marketing and advertising and become achievers.

“This holistic training programme is aimed at identifying young talent and converting them into potential leaders. I believe they would emerge from this programme far more productive and happier. They will receive a truly international experience with exposure to industry leaders,” shared AFAA Chairman Pradeep Guha.

The programme takes place in Kuala Lumpur between September 3 and 7, 2012 and aims at nurturing aspiring leaders of the industry.

Janet Lee, a veteran in the advertising and professional training industries, will conduct the intensive five-day residential programme.

Short-listed candidates would be interviewed by an ACI panel and four professionals would be selected and fully sponsored to attend the programme.
