TimesJobs.com scouts for creative partners
Times Business Solutions has called for a creative pitch for its recruitment portal timesjobs.com. The pitch is currently underway in Delhi.
TimesJobs.com is hunting for a creative partner in the Capital. According to industry sources, the flagship recruitment portal from Times Business Solutions Ltd (TBSL) has invited agencies to present strategies for increasing the mindshare of the brand in the recruitment space and position it as the premium job portal in the country. The incumbent on the business is Mudra, which was been handling the account since 2006.
No official confirmations could be obtained on the development, but sources have confirmed the news to exchange4media.
If sources are to be believed, agencies like McCann Erickson, M&C Saatchi, Black Pencil and more have already made presentations to the client. The pitch is currently underway in Delhi. The presentations made at this time are limited to creative duties for timesjobs.com. It could not be confirmed at the time of filing this report if the pitch involved duties for other sites in the TBSL stable.
It may be recalled that Mudra Delhi had won the Times Business Solutions account in a multi-agency pitch in 2006. The business comprised all four major brands – TimesJobs.com, TimesMatri.com, MagicBricks.com, and Ads2Book.com (formerly TimesClassifieds.com) under TBSL at that time. The account, which had then moved from Bates to Mudra, was estimated to be upwards of Rs 30 crore.
The development comes close on the heels of Bennett, Coleman and Co Ltd (BCCL), the holding company of Times Business Solutions, moving creative duties of its newspaper The Economic Times from Mudra to Lowe Lintas.
TimesJobs.com has been in existence since 2004 and has established a strong competitive position in the online recruitments space amidst tough competition.
