Updated: Oct 24, 2011 8:51 AM awards creative duties to DraftFCB Ulka, a leading daily deal site, has launched its new campaign, ‘Even God is addicted’, in which Rajni – The God is shown sweating out at the gym, getting a hair spa, holidaying on the beach, enjoying a body massage and a pleasant airline travel, all after buying deals from The advertisement, which looks more like a viral, has been uploaded on the website and has garnered quite a few hits in just one week. The website is letting its users use the code ‘Addicted’ for getting more benefits until October 31, 2011.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the daily deal e-commerce leader had awarded its creative duties to DraftFCB Ulka recently. Though no official comments could be obtained at the time of filing this report, industry sources have confirmed the news to exchange4media. Neither Snapdeal nor DraftFCB Ulka responded despite repeated attempts. However, it has been some time since the agency started working on the account.

For the record, Jasper Innovative Marketing Solutions, the company that owns, has raised two rounds of funding in 2011, one in January of $12million from Nexus Venture Partners and Indo-US Venture Partners and of $40 million in July from Bessemer Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners and Indo-US Venture Partners. The company plans to take the acquisition route to expand its offering after gaining presence in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives and Singapore.
