L’amour Advertising on a regional account winning spree
L’amour Advertising, a Nagpur-based agency, has added three new accounts to its kitty in the last two months, including two Public Sector Units, following multi-agency pitches that saw the participation of various state and regional agencies.
It has been a string of business additions for L’amour Advertising in this quarter. The Nagpur-based agency has added three new businesses in the last two months, including two Public Sector Units.
L’amour has been appointed as AOR by Maruti India Pvt Ltd (MIPL) for their Western Region. The agency will handle complete communications for the company, including ATL, BTL as well as PR activities. The agency has been handling MIPL’s creative and media duties in the Nagpur region and would now handle the West 2 region, which includes Vidarbha and the nearby areas. The agency shares the account with Ray Advertising, which has also been empanelled for the same region. The MIPL account will be handled by L’amour’s Pune branch.
The two Public Sector wins for L’amour include Manganese Ore Company Ltd (MOIL) and Maharashtra State Electricity Development Company Ltd (MSEDCL), Nagpur division, both of which have been won by the agency’s Nagpur office. While Admas Advertising is the incumbent agency on the MOIL account, the MSEDCL account was earlier handled by Astral Advertising. L’amour Advertising will now be the sole agency working on both the PSUs’ marketing, branding and advertising activities.
All the accounts involved participation from agencies at regional and state levels. The pitches for these accounts were called in April-May.
Speaking on the wins, Dipty Gurjar, Chief Executive – Communication, L’amour Advertising, said, “It is always a great feeling to grab new accounts. MOIL was also a significant win and the credit for that goes to Sonal Pashine, our Branch Head at Nagpur. MSEDCL, too, is a very important and esteemed account for us, and our team in Mumbai was able to tap it brilliantly. All of these clients and accounts are extremely important for us. They are of a great magnitude and impact our turnover with a good number.”
“The total business from these wins would account for 12-15 per cent of our annual turnover,” she added.
For the record, L’amour Advertising, which calls itself the “Nursery of Big Ideas”, currently has four offices in Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai and Secunderabad.
