Concept Advertising, Crayons Advertising, Goldmine Advertising, InterPub Advertising, Prabhatam Advertising, RK Swamy BBDO and Span Communications have bagged the creative duties of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). Concept Advertising, Crayons Advertising, PerceptH and Span Communications have been assigned the mandate for National e-Governance Programme (NGEP). Industry sources have pegged the combined account size at Rs 100 crore.
For both the government bodies, the creative duties would be 360 degree, ranging from conceptualisation to designing creatives. In the case of ESIC, the creative agencies will be required to send direct media releases, while the same will be handled by Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) alone for NEGP.
Speaking to exchange4media on the win, Ranjan Bargotra, President, Crayons Advertising Ltd, shared, “Both the entities are looking at a wide mix of activities using all kinds of possible media opportunities. They are planning to take on-ground activities extensively such as road shows and conferences pan-India. Both the accounts are 360 degree with heavy focus on activation. It is quite exciting as it is not the usual stuff that we do and the subjects are also quite interesting. People don’t know much about them either, so it carries tremendous potential for us as an agency too. The work should begin soon.”
ESIC is a Government of India body that protects Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (ESI Act) by the Parliament, which was the first major legislation on social security for workers in independent India. This Act encompasses certain health related eventualities that the workers are generally exposed to, such as sickness, maternity, temporary or permanent disability, to name a few.
The National e-Governance Plan of the Indian Government seeks to lay the foundation and provide the impetus for long-term growth of e-Governance within the country. For more updates, be socially connected with us on
