In big news, Pratap Pawar was re-elected MRUCI Chairman while Shashi Sinha has been appointed as the Vice Chairman. MRUCI has also roped in two new Board members - Sivakumar Sundaram and Sejal Shah.
Meanwhile, Partho Dasgupta has been retained as President of The Advertising Club. The announcement was made by the Managing Committee at its 66th Annual General Meeting.
Sabbas Joseph was also elected to The Advertising Club managing committee for FY20-21. The other members that were elected as office bearers of The Advertising Club include Partha Sinha, Vice President, Dr Bhaskar Das, Secretary; Aditya Swamy, Joint Secretary and Shashi Sinha, Treasurer.
In some big IPL 2020 developments, IPL 13 garnered 60.6 billion viewing minutes across 7 matches and 21 channels, as per BARC-Nielsen data. As per the report, OTT has witnessed a 32% increase in user base for the IPL week over the previous week, primarily driven by massive gains seen in Disney+Hotstar.
In other news, Dentsu Aegis Network is now Dentsu International Limited. The new name will be officially adopted from early October 2020, according to the company statement.

DDB Mudra has bagged the creative mandate for Danone's Protinex. The agency will bring in its expertise to strengthen the brand’s communication and architecture.
