Unny Radhakrishnan to step down as CEO of Digitas India

Unny Radhakrishnan has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Digitas India. He shared the news of his departure from the company in a LinkedIn post.
In his post, Unny stated that he will be stepping down from the CEO role at the end of September. He was with the company for over 5 years.
“End of this month, September as I step down from my current role, will mark the end of my 5.5-year journey at Digitas/Publicis. Every leadership role in some ways is a constant attempt to understand how the world works and find/learn new ways of seeing things. While attempting to bring together people with different expertise and temperament to do things which otherwise could not have been done by any single individual. A work-in-progress always”, he stated in his LinkedIn post.
Unny is a seasoned professional with over 20 years in Digital Marketing, Consulting and Technology. Previously, Unny had an 11-year stint in Maxus, where he built Maxus as the first media agency in the GroupM system to have integrated capabilities in Digital Media, Creative, Social, Technology and R&D.
One of his consulting assignments was with SHEROES, an internet start-up and a women-only social network, soon turned to be full-time, where he donned the hat of Chief People & Business Officer.
