TVS Motor Company (TVSM), a part of the TVS Venu Group, has appointed Ravindran Shanmugam as an Independent Director on its board. His appointment will be valid for five years starting from May 13, 2026, pending approval from shareholders.
Shanmugam is a technology entrepreneur and business executive with strong experience in consumer businesses, digital transformation and AI-driven platforms across international markets.
At present, he serves as the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Mablle. Earlier in his career, he also worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Speaking about the appointment, Sudarshan Venu, Chairman of TVS Motor Company, said that Ravindran Shanmugam brings valuable expertise in digital businesses, consumer-focused strategies and AI-led transformation. He added that Shanmugam’s experience in entrepreneurship, business scaling and global markets will strengthen the company’s board and support its long-term growth plans.
