Samantha Jacobson has decided to move on as the Chief Strategy Officer at The Trade Desk. She will be joining OpenAI as Vice President of Partnerships (Monetization).

News reports said that The Trade Desk had confirmed Jacobson’s departure and that she would continue to serve on the company’s board of directors even after taking up her new position at OpenAI. 

At OpenAI, Jacobson will be responsible for leading monetization partnerships and shaping the company’s relationships across advertising, distribution, platform infrastructure, and emerging business models.

She will report to Torben Severson, Vice President and Head of Global Business Development, and is expected to assume the role later this month, reports quoted an OpenAI spokesperson.
