Muralitharan K has joined The Hindu Group as a Senior Assistant Editor.
Muralidharan has over 25 years of media experience.
He has worked across television, digital, and print media and covered major national and international events on the ground, including reporting from the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. He has also worked at BBC Headquarters in London.
He served as a senior journalist with BBC News, reporting extensively on Tamil Nadu politics, elections, social justice, and cultural issues.
Prior to this, he served as a senior journalist at Collective Newsroom. Early in his career, he held key roles at prestigious publications such as India Today and NDTV Hindu. He also served as a Political/Economic Advisor at the Singapore Consulate General in Chennai.
