Hindi news channel News India 24X7 has appointed senior journalist Anuranjan Jha as Resident Editor for Europe.

Jha confirmed his appointment in a conversation with e4m. 

With over two decades of experience in journalism, Jha is also an author and serves as chairperson of the United Kingdom-based Gandhian Peace Society. In the past, he has served as news director at India News and as editor-in-chief and CEO of CNEB.

He began his media career with Jansatta and went on to work with Zee News and Aaj Tak, before playing a key role in the launch of India TV. He is currently based in England, where he focuses on research around India-Europe relations.

Commenting on the appointment, Rana Yashwant, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of News India 24X7, said, “Anuranjan Jha is a visionary journalist. His role will be instrumental in increasing News India’s reach and popularity among audiences.”
