Senior journalist Braj Mohan Singh has taken over as Editor of News18 Punjab, Haryana & Himachal, marking a return to the region where he began his journalism career more than two decades ago.
Singh shared the update in a LinkedIn post, describing the move as a “homecoming” to his original “karma kshetra” — Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. He joins the network’s regional leadership team after spending over five years with News18 Bihar/Jharkhand, where he was involved in reporting and editorial operations.
Singh brings with him over two decades of experience in journalism across print, television and digital platforms.
Earlier, Singh worked as Regional Editor with ETV Bharat for over two years. He has also served as Resident Editor for the Chandigarh edition of Dainik Bhaskar, where he worked for around four years.
He was also the founding editor of Patrika TV under the Rajasthan Patrika group. In television news, he has led newsroom and reporting teams at PTC News in India, the US and Canada, and spent nearly eight years with NDTV (2002–2010), where he served as Bureau Chief for North India. Singh also has early experience as one of the founding members of Asian Age in Gujarat in 1998.
