Sumit Chaturvedi has been appointed as Consulting Editor at The Economic Times, marking a new phase in his professional journey. He shared the update through a LinkedIn post, expressing enthusiasm about taking on the new role.

Announcing the development, Chaturvedi wrote, “Happy to announce new innings with The Economic Times as Consulting Editor. Will continue to build my own venture & India’s first digital global news platform Voice Of India World News. Chaturvedi is a seasoned media professional with over 22 years of illustrating career as a journalist, reporting mainly on business & economy.

Before taking the entrepreneurial plunge, he was the Delhi Bureau Chief & Senior Business Editor at ET Now. Previously, he worked with WION-Zee Global as an Anchor & Business Editor. In the past, he also worked with CNBC-TV 18, Hindustan Times, Zee Business and more.
