Globus Spirits has named Shekhar Swarup as its Chief Executive Officer, the company informed in a regulatory filing. The appointment is effective from today, March 5, 2026, as approved by the Board. Swarup will continue as Joint Managing Director while taking on the additional CEO role under Key Managerial Personnel category
He will serve as the CEO in addition to his role as a Whole-time Director -to accurately reflect the current organizational structure and ensure regulatory transparency, the company added.
“To accurately reflect the current organizational structure and ensure regulatory transparency, Mr. Shekhar Swarup, who currently oversees the company’s strategic vision, culture, and high-level operations, has been formally designated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) under the category of Key Managerial Personnel”, the filing stated.
As per his LinkedIn profile, Swarup has been associated with Globus Spirits for over 17 years. He has been serving as Joint Managing Director at Globus Spirits since February 2017 and is based in Delhi. Before this, he worked as Executive Director at the company from October 2011 to January 2017.
