Annu Gupta has been named Chief Executive Officer – International Business at Haldiram Snacks Food Pvt. Ltd. He joins the company following a 13-year career at Britannia Industries, where he also served as CEO – International Business.
Gupta shared the announcement on LinkedIn, noting: “After an incredible journey of more than 13 years building Britannia into a large well respected Global Food Brand, I am humbled and excited to share that I am taking on a new challenge as Chief Executive Officer – International Business with Haldiram’s – a leading Indian snacks and food brand.” He also added, "With an 80-year legacy delighting Indian consumers, we are setting our sights even higher. Our vision is to build a world class brand that resonates with global consumers around the world, with local operations and manufacturing facilities across the globe."
With 28 years of experience in the FMCG sector, Gupta brings a wealth of expertise in scaling international businesses, particularly in the Middle East, Africa and other global markets.
Earlier in his career, Gupta also worked with TGI Nigeria Ltd, IFFCO, Dabur India Limited, Colgate-Palmolive, among others.
