- Anirudh submitted her resignation on May 30 and is currently in her notice period; speculation exists about a potential new role within the organization.
- She joined Kadak as a consultant in August 2025 and hosted the show Ankahi, having previously gained prominence as the host of Zindagi Live and working with various media outlets since 2002.
- Anirudh has also engaged audiences through her YouTube channel, Zindagi with Richa, and hosted radio programs on Big FM from 2014 to 2021.
Senior television journalist and anchor Richa Anirudh has exited Network18 Media & Investments' digital platform, Kadak, according to sources familiar with the development.
Sources said Anirudh decided to step down due to personal reasons, despite her consultancy contract with the platform running until the end of July 2026. She is understood to have submitted her resignation on May 30 and is currently serving her notice period.
There is also speculation that she could take on another role within the organisation, although no official announcement has been made.
Anirudh joined Kadak as a consultant in August 2025 and hosted the show Unkahi on the platform.
A prominent name in Indian television journalism, Anirudh began her career with Zee News in 2002 as a reporter and anchor before joining Channel 7 in 2005, which was later rebranded as IBN7 and subsequently News18 India.
She rose to prominence as the host of Zindagi Live, one of Hindi television's most recognised talk shows, earning multiple industry accolades, including several Best Anchor awards.
Between 2014 and 2021, Anirudh also hosted radio programmes on Big FM. After stepping away from mainstream television, she continued engaging audiences through her YouTube channel, Zindagi with Richa, before returning to the newsroom with Kadak last year.
