Senior journalist and anchor Rubika Liyaquat is set to join Times Now Navbharat following her recent exit from News18 India, according to industry sources. Sources say that she will be commencing her new role on 11th June, 2026.

Sources indicate that Liyaquat is expected to take over the prime-time slot vacated by Sushant Sinha, who recently parted ways with Times Now Navbharat.

Liyaquat exited News18 India in May after serving as Consulting Editor and anchoring key prime-time programming on the channel. Her departure sparked speculation across the media industry regarding her next destination.

A familiar face in Hindi television journalism, Liyaquat has previously worked with major news networks including ABP News, Zee News and Bharat24 before joining News18 India.

Recently, Times Now Navbharat released a promo for News Ki Pathshala, which says: “Everyone will tell you the news, but who will help you understand it? That’s why... Madam is coming! Don’t miss the class—your attendance is mandatory! News Ki Pathshala, only on Times Now Navbharat.”
