Rahul Vengalil, Managing Partner at Isobar, a Dentsu group company, has stepped down, e4m has learnt.
“I have stepped down from Isobar. I will update you on my next plan soon,” Vengalil said.
This was his second stint with Isobar. Vengalil is known for handling a long list of clients in Automobile, Retail, Lifestyle, FMCG, eCommerce, Travel, Hospitality, Consumer Electronics, IT & ITES, Media & Entertainment & Real Estate sectors.
Vengalil’s first stint with Isobar was between 2011-2016 when he expanded the agency’s footprint across South India and set up Isobar’s branches in Bangalore and Chennai.
In 2017, Vengalil launched his own venture What Clicks, which is in the business of identifying various wastages in digital investment related to but not limited to digital ad frauds, transparency, fragmentation and wrong execution.
He returned to dentsu in April 2020 and remained at the helm of Isobar.
Vengalil started his career by launching a lifestyle magazine in Kerala in 2007 along with five friends. He moved to DNA’s sales department in 2008 and after two years joined Interactive Avenues as senior account manager before switching to Isobar.
