TikTok’s Global Product Marketing Lead Rahul Fernandes has decided to move on from the company. He announced his exit through a LinkedIn post.
“This week, I resigned from TikTok after a fascinating ride working within one of the world's fastest-growing tech companies. I haven’t made a viral dance video (yet), but I did get a front-row seat to how Chinese tech operates at scale. Navigating the pace, ambition, and culture of ByteDance was eye-opening – as much as observing the tradition of afternoon naps in our offices in China”, his LinkedIn post read.
“Silicon Valley is a bit like an international university campus – working at Meta, Google, and TikTok, every day felt like walking through a global quad where conversations flowed in so many different languages”, he added describing his journey in the US.

He has led product and marketing efforts for everything from zero-to-one launches to billion-user products at Meta, Google, and TikTok—moving fast while delivering at scale.
