Network18 has appointed Raj Jain as an Independent Director on its board. His five-year term will begin on March 25, 2026, and run until March 24, 2031.

Jain brings extensive leadership experience across industries. He previously served as CEO of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd and has also held key roles as CEO of Walmart India and Managing Director and CEO of Whirlpool India. His background spans both media and consumer businesses.

Commenting on the appointment, Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman of Network18, said the company is pleased to welcome Jain to the board. He highlighted Jain’s strong experience in media and consumer sectors, along with his ability to lead large-scale transformations and contribute to corporate governance.

This move comes as Network18 strengthens its focus on delivering integrated news and content across television, digital, and regional platforms, while also exploring new formats driven by creators and emerging technologies.

Speaking on his new role, Raj Jain said he is happy to join Network18 at a time when technology is changing how audiences consume content.
