Lakshya Digital has announced a significant leadership transition, marking the end of Manvendra Shukul’s tenure as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the beginning of his new role as Founder, Chairman Emeritus and Non-Executive Director of the Board.
In a statement shared on LinkedIn, the company acknowledged Shukul’s role in shaping Lakshya Digital into one of the world’s leading game art and animation studios.
Shukul founded Lakshya Digital in 2004 with the aim of building a robust video games ecosystem in India. Under Shukul’s guidance, Lakshya Digital also strengthened its position within Keywords Studios, where he serves as Country Head for India.
While stepping down from day-to-day leadership, Shukul will continue to play an active role in the company’s future. In his new capacity, he will provide strategic advice and support to the leadership team.
Lakshya Digital expressed its appreciation for Shukul’s contributions and also mentioned, “Beyond Lakshya, he will continue to champion the Indian video game industry and represent Lakshya and Keywords Studios as a global voice for the region.”
