  • Gaurav Dewani has officially stepped down as Executive Vice President of Times Network, as confirmed by an internal company communication.
  • Dewani is leaving to pursue opportunities outside the organization, with plans to enter entrepreneurship.
  • He joined Times Network in March 2023, marking his second tenure with the company, and previously served as revenue head at NDTV for two and a half years.
  • With over 20 years of experience in the media industry, Dewani has held senior roles at various major media companies, including Zee Entertainment and The Walt Disney Company.

A week after e4m reported that Gaurav Dewani, Executive Vice President of Times Network, has stepped down from his post, the news has been officially confirmed.

The company on Monday issued an internal communication informing the company staff about Dewani’s departure.

“This is to inform you that Gaurav Dewani, EVP-Times Influence Sales, has decided to move on from Times Network to pursue opportunities outside the organization.”

As reported in an earlier report, e4m has also learnt that Gaurav Dewani is now preparing to pursue entrepreneurship.

e4m reported yesterday (June 29) that there was speculation in the industry about Gaurav Dewani moving on from the company.

Gaurav Dewani joined the Times Network in March of this year. This was his second stint with the network. Prior to this, Gaurav Dewani served as the revenue head at NDTV for approximately two and a half years. He joined NDTV in December 2023.

With over two decades of experience, Gaurav Dewani has worked in business development, marketing, strategy, and operations. Prior to NDTV, he served as Senior Vice President and National Head of Branded Content at Times Network, where he led monetization strategies for TV and digital properties.

He previously held senior positions at Zee Entertainment Enterprises. He also worked at CA-Media (under the Peter Chernin Group), where he worked on revenue models related to live entertainment and festival properties.

His professional journey also includes stints with major media houses like The Walt Disney Company, Times Network, Network18 and Hindustan Times, where he worked in advertising sales, branded content and integrated media monetization.
